My experience interning at Katrium
Published on May 19, 2026

My experience interning at Katrium is now coming to an end, and there is a lot to think about. I had come across Katrium’s job listing on Duunitori while looking for an internship as part of my education. I am studying business at Omnia, and at the time, I didn’t know how things would go. I’m glad I applied to intern at Katrium.

About Katrium

Katrium is a business process outsourcing company based in Estonia. Katrium has workers from all around the world and deals with various clients.

When I applied, I hoped to find a place that would give me the necessary experience needed for my major and valuable experience I could use in the future. Katrium ended up being the right choice. My experience interning at Katrium was much better than I could have ever hoped for it to be.

What I did at Katrium was managing social media, keeping spreadsheets up to date, HR and customer service. The internship period was from 23.02.2026-24.04.2026 and I learned many things while interning at Katrium.

My Experience Interning at Katrium Managing Social Media

One of my roles was Social Media Manager. It involved finding and contacting candidates for our projects on Facebook, recruitment sites. It also involved writing content for our Facebook group, and keeping our spreadsheets up to date. This was the part I enjoyed most. I love writing, and writing content for our facebook group allowed me to do something that I already loved.

Doing it allowed me to learn about SEO. I had heard about SEO, but didn’t know it meant other than that it was used for marketing. There are many things that go into writing a SEO post. It was quite fascinating and fun, even if frustrating at times.

Customer Service

As a customer service agent I helped customers book, change, or cancel appointments. I also helped with purchase returns, inquiring about package status, and facilitating contact between the customers and the clients. It was nice to help the customers with any of the problems that came up. I learned to use Elisa Ring, which wasn’t a program I had used before, and was entirely new to me.

My Experience Interning at Katrium and Working in a Team Remotely

My experience interning at Katrium was very positive. Working remotely and in my own space allowed me a more comfortable working environment. It gave me the ability to manage my own schedule. The CEO was friendly and willing to explain how things are done. The onboarding was easy to follow and didn’t drag on forever, my co-workers were friendly and helpful. Time went by fast, and the 9 weeks were done in a blink of an eye.

I never felt like I had to do everything alone or like I couldn’t ask for help when I needed it. The questions I had were answered seriously, and it never felt like I was brushed off. When I needed it, there was always someone who helped. The work was easy to navigate and didn’t feel difficult or impossible to manage.

Recommendation

I would recommend interning at Katrium to anyone studying in the business field. It was certainly an enlightening experience for me, and a pleasure to work with a friendly and professional team.

Conclusion

I am grateful to have had the chance to work at Katrium and with their highly skilled and agile team. It was great to have had the chance to learn so many new things that I had never tried before. It was a pleasure to work with the Katrium team.
